Subject: Missionary Housing and Vehicle Need

 

As many of you know, we have several missionaries who have taken the Voluntary Retirement Incentive (VRI) offered by the IMB. We have a transition team that is working on several ways to help families returning to Oklahoma, but today I received information regarding a specific need. This family is set to arrive around January 23 and they have six children. They are in need of housing and a vehicle. (The housing would be for approximately two months) They have a job already lined up in the OKC metro area. The missionary housing in our area is full.

 

If you know of something you or your church can help with, would you please contact me? I will put you in direct contact with this family. Anyone want to open their home to 8 additional people?

 

At this time we have identified more than 30 missionaries who are planning to settle in Oklahoma. We will keep you posted on transition plans as they develop and ways churches can connect.
